Industrial Surface Prep
Done Right

ShowMe Mobile Blasting brings industrial surface preparation directly to your job site. Our dustless blasting process strips paint, rust, mill scale, and industrial coatings from structural steel, heavy machinery, storage vessels, and more, leaving a clean anchor profile ready for your coating system.

No need to disassemble and haul large equipment to a shop. Our mobile rig travels throughout Missouri and the surrounding states, handling jobs of any scale on-site. We work around your schedule and keep your downtime short.

Tell us the surface prep spec your coating calls for and we will tell you straight whether we can hit it on your substrate. We would rather turn down a job than miss a spec you are paying for.

Work We've Actually Done

Not a capability list. These are real jobs off the schedule, so you can judge whether we handle the kind of work you have.

Gas pipeline sections

Blasted and coated to the customer's spec. Roughly three hours on site, tight tolerance on the finish, and the kind of job where getting the prep wrong is expensive later.

County salt storage barn

Road and bridge department. About two weeks of work. Salt is brutal on steel, so the prep has to be right or the recoat fails inside a season.

Hospital interior, Jefferson City

Two to three weeks inside an occupied building. Dust control was the whole reason we got the call, and we worked around the facility's schedule rather than the other way around.

Parking structure

Blast plus pressure wash across a multi-level garage in Jefferson City. Two to three weeks, staged so sections stayed open to traffic.

Mizzou campus buildings

Multi-day masonry and steel work on the University of Missouri campus in Columbia. Active pedestrian areas, so containment mattered as much as the blasting did.

Condo staircases, Lake of the Ozarks

Structural stair flights stripped and recoated. Repeat work at the Lake, where salt air and weather take steel apart fast.

Flat roof coating removal

Aluminum coating stripped off a commercial flat roof, priced by the square foot with travel and per diem. Out-of-state job, which we take when the scope justifies it.

1930s steel casement windows

Close to a century of paint and hardened glazing taken back to bare steel without damaging the frames. Historic work needs a lighter hand than structural does.

Six years in business, 500 plus projects, veteran owned and operated. If your job does not look like anything on this list, call anyway. We will tell you straight if it is not a fit.

Industries We Serve

We work with contractors, facility managers, fabricators, and equipment owners across multiple industries.

Oil, Gas & Industrial Storage

Storage tanks, industrial vessels, piping, and containment structures blasted and prepped for protective liners.

Common Questions

Tell us the spec your coating manufacturer calls for and we will tell you whether we can hit it on your substrate. Wet abrasive blasting produces a clean surface with an anchor profile suitable for most industrial coating systems, but what is actually achievable depends on the steel, its condition, and the media we run. We would rather look at the job than promise a number over the phone. If your project needs third-party inspection or a documented profile reading, say so up front and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
Yes. Our fully mobile rig travels directly to your location. We've worked on large storage tanks, structural steel assemblies, construction equipment, and commercial buildings on active job sites. No need to dismantle or transport anything.
Yes. The water in our process suppresses airborne particulate right at the nozzle, so we can work on active commercial and industrial sites where dry blasting would put dust everywhere. Worth knowing how the water affects steel: any wet process will flash rust bare steel if it is left sitting, so we run a rust inhibitor in the water and plan the job around your recoat window. That is also why about three quarters of our work is blast and finish together, so the steel never sits bare. If your painter is handling the coating, tell us their schedule and we will time the blast to it.
