Sandblasting in
St. Louis, MO

ShowMe Mobile Blasting takes industrial and commercial sandblasting work in St. Louis. We are based in Columbia, about two hours west on I-70, and the rig travels to your site. Nothing gets dismantled and hauled anywhere.

St. Louis has a deeper industrial base than most of the state, which means the jobs skew bigger: manufacturing plants, river and barge infrastructure, chemical and storage facilities, older brick and masonry buildings that need restoration rather than replacement, and fabricators moving steel out the door on a schedule.

We are upfront that we are travelling in. Mobilization goes on the quote. For a multi-day scope that is a rounding error, and for a one-piece job it is not worth it for either of us. Ask and we will tell you which one yours is.

Why Bring Us To St. Louis

Built for bigger scopes

The jobs that justify the drive are the ones we are set up for anyway. Structural packages, plant work, tank and vessel exteriors, facade restoration measured in weeks rather than hours.

Historic masonry without wrecking it

St. Louis has a lot of old brick worth saving. Wet abrasive blasting can be dialled back for soft substrates. We have taken close to a century of paint off 1930s steel casement windows without damaging the frames.

No subcontracting the actual work

Eran quotes it and Eran blasts it. Six years, 500 plus projects, veteran owned and operated.

What We Blast Around St. Louis

The work that justifies the drive, and the sectors it usually comes from.

Manufacturing plants

Machinery, structural steel, catwalks and production equipment prepped on site so the line does not move.

Storage tanks and vessels

Above-ground tank exteriors, hoppers and containment structures stripped for liner and coating work.

Brick and masonry restoration

Facades, warehouses and older commercial buildings cleaned without tearing up the substrate. Graffiti removal included.

Marine and river infrastructure

Barge and dock structures, hulls and marine hardware. Antifouling and coating removal.

Steel fabricators

Fabricated assemblies and structural members blasted before coating, on your ship schedule.

Parking structures and commercial concrete

Blast and wash across multi-level structures, staged so parts stay open. We have done exactly this in Jefferson City.

St. Louis Questions

Do you have a St. Louis location?

No. We are based in Columbia, MO and drive across for the job. We are saying that plainly because you will find out anyway, and a company that fakes a local address is telling you something about how it handles everything else.

Is the drive a problem?

About two hours on I-70, which is a normal commute for a multi-day job. It shows up as mobilization on your quote rather than as a scheduling problem.

Can you handle historic brick without damaging it?

Often, yes, but it depends on the substrate and we want to see it first. Pressure and media get dialled to the material. Soft brick and old mortar need a much lighter hand than structural steel does, and anyone who quotes historic masonry sight unseen is guessing.

What surface prep spec can you hit?

Tell us what your coating manufacturer calls for and we will tell you honestly whether we can hit it on your substrate. If the project needs third-party inspection or a documented profile reading, say so up front so we can tell you whether we are the right fit.

How fast can we get a quote?

Call or text (573) 808-2771 with the scope, location and rough size. We usually respond within 30 minutes, and for anything sizeable we will come out and look at it.

More detail on our industrial work is on the industrial sandblasting page, or head back to the homepage.
